A detailed description of the process is below.

A glove sizing chart with instructions on how to measure palm circumference. The chart provides size guidelines for men's, women's, and kids' gloves based on palm measurement in inches, from 5 to 11 inches, with one size for larger sizes. There is a diagram showing how to measure the palm with a tape measure around the inside of the hand.

Note: I use the Men’s Sizing to keep it streamline.

Commission Process

Step 3

Once payment has been submitted I will begin working on the sketch of the landscape. A photo of this sketch will be emailed to you for review. You have the ability to request changes one time, for a total of two sketches.

Once the sketch is approved by you, I will then begin drawing the landscape directly on the leather gloves or mittens. This step is final and can not be revised.

Step 1

You fill out the form above including mitten or gloves, size, and a photo of the landscape.

Step 4

I will complete the drawing on the gloves or mittens and move onto the waterproofing process.

I use a special recipe for waterproofing with beeswax. I will put the mitts in and out of the oven five times with three layers of wax. This step ensures the leather is taken care of for the days ahead. I will include a care card for you to re-waterproof when needed (every 100 days of use).

Once waterproofed I will mail the gloves to you!

Step 2

I will review the form submission and reach out with clarifying questions. Once we are on the same page I will send you a payment link to secure your commission. I will not begin working until the payment has been submitted.
