Mentality to Reality products are all slow crafted and handmade by the artist, Bel Young. Using processes such as block printing and hand drawn designs, each product is one-of-a kind.

Block printing is a hands-on technique, from designing and carving the stamp, to hand printing each piece. Up-cycling thrifted clothing provides unique products to share with you all.

The mittens and gloves are detailed with hand drawn designs directly on the leather. This approach uses an alternative canvas to enjoy art in everyday life.

The reason I chose to use Kinco mitts and gloves is their strength and durability. As a traditional blue collar brand, these products are built to last and get better over time. I use a specific recipe to treat and waterproof the leather after hand drawing the designs. When you purchase a pair of mitts or gloves I will share this technique so you can continue to keep your hands warm and dry for years to come.
